RTG/RMG Gantry Anti-collision System-LiDAR-Based
The system adopts Lidar-based anti-collision solution. Scanners continuously monitor the predefined RTG travel path and detect various types of obstacles in real time.
Within the detection area, the system identifies people, vehicles and other obstacles, calculates their distance, and provides early warning for automatic speed reduction and stopping.
By analyzing obstacle characteristics, the system intelligently differentiates between different object types and applies corresponding crane control strategies.
When an obstacle enters the predefined slowdown zone, the system outputs a control signal to reduce RTG travel speed and activate an alarm.
When an obstacle enters the stop zone, the system outputs an emergency stop signal to stop RTG movement and prevent potential collisions.
